How Pangram handles user content

Pangram is a scanning tool, not a hosting or publishing platform. Text, documents, and images you submit are used only to run your scan and are not stored, displayed publicly, or made available to other users — see our Privacy Policy for details. Because we don't retain or publish submitted content, most copyright concerns relate to the website itself (its text, design, logo, and code) rather than to scans people run.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe material on this website (as opposed to a transient scan submitted by another user) infringes your copyright, you can send a notice to our designated contact below. To be effective, your notice should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

Counter-notice

If material you submitted was removed in response to a notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with:

• Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.

Repeat infringers

Where applicable, we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for anyone found to be a repeat infringer.
