By using Pangram AI Detector ("Pangram", "we", "us"), you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

1. What Pangram is

Pangram is a free tool that analyzes text, PDF and DOCX documents, and images, and returns an estimate of how likely the content is to have been generated by AI. The service is provided as-is, without any account or payment required.

2. Accuracy of results

AI detection is a probability estimate, not a verified fact. No detector — ours included — can guarantee a correct answer in every case, especially for short passages, heavily edited text, or content that mixes human and AI writing.

You agree not to treat a Pangram result as final proof of authorship, and not to rely on it as the sole basis for an academic, legal, employment, editorial, or other consequential decision about a person.

3. Acceptable use

When using Pangram, you agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to submit scans at scale or bypass the anti-bot verification code.
• Upload content that is illegal, that you don't have the right to submit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or rebrand the service without our permission.
• Use the tool to harass, defame, or make public accusations against a specific named individual based solely on a scan result.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to whatever text, document, or image you submit. As explained in our Privacy Policy, we don't store your submitted content beyond the time needed to run the scan and return your result.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit whatever content you scan.

5. Intellectual property

The Pangram name, logo, design, and website code belong to us. You may use the tool itself for your personal or business needs, but you may not copy, resell, or repackage the site or its underlying code without permission.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Pangram available and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party API limits, or factors outside our control.

7. Limitation of liability

Pangram is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any decision made, or any loss or damage arising, from your use of a scan result.

8. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these terms, or change, limit, or discontinue any part of the service, at any time. Continued use of Pangram after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
